Through my many years of officiating basketball and baseball, I knew Doc and his friendly face. He showed what everyone that attends a high school athletic event should have! Sportmanship! He was the best.

So sorry to hear of Doc's passing. May the memories of happy times spent together comfort all of you during this sad time. I won't be able to attend the funeral but know that I am there in my heart with all of you. I remember Doc always attending all of our Raymond family gatherings. A sweet and gentle man! Doc was a very special man to my family and I. I remember him and Jeanette teaching me how to ride my bike as kid out in front of our houses. He and Jeanette would make us homemade ice cream during the summers. As a grown adult I always sent Doc a Christmas card and kept in touch with him. I am very sad that he never got to meet my daughter...but she will know him through my stories. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Sherry, Rocky, and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and you adjust to you loss. He was such an enjoyable person. I remember as a little girl going to see Uncle Harlyn at his work. As the years progressed I have memories of the pride he had sharing his life with your family. He was always happy to see and talk to us upon on chance meetings at differant stores. Cherish the wonderful memories. Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Over the years, we spent many a basketball and or softball game visiting with Doc. It was always an enjoyable time. HMS's super fan will now keep tabs on the teams from his heavenly "Doc's Spot".
