Brett, I’m happy we got to know each other in your short time at Purina. I’m even happier that we had a common love of golf and spent this summer getting to know each other outside of work on the course. I’ll always remember you for your positive outlook and also the way you could hit a 3 wood further than anyone I’ve ever played with. We’ll all miss you and hope you found peace.

I’m glad I got to spend the last 9 months getting to know Brett at our job, he went from banking to a whole 360 in manufacturing was never afraid to jump in and learn. Always joked about being a “white collar guy” and not a “blue collar guy” but he was honestly both. Rest easy Brett. I hope them fairways are crisp, holes are cut sharp, and beers are cold

Brett (Pockets) Flynn-It was great getting to meet you and quite the experience to train you at your first manufacturing job. We had some fun times and made a few memories. Brett gave me a whole new incite on squirrels, especially the black squirrels in the Sanborn Park! Brett announced in English class,”I see a black squirrel “! I asked the students to stand up and look at the squirrel so we could get back to work! Brett had the biggest smile on his face! I loved being his teacher and friend!

Brett will always be remembered as one of my favorite humans. I love the hours we spent together while life guarding. I also enjoyed the times we saw each other at UNI. He always helped make things more fun. He was also so kind. Overall just a really great guy. The world has suffered an unimaginable loss. To the Flynn family, I am soooo sorry for your loss.
