I knew Barb well. She was such a good friend to my Mom, Geneva Petersen, while Mom lived in an apartment, then some years later, while they both lived at Country View Manor in Sibley. Barb was always a joy to be around, always smiling, always caring.
When I would see my Mom at the nursing home, I would always see Barb as well. She would ask me, 'are you staying out of trouble?' I would say, 'No, are you?' With her 'no' response, we would laugh and hug each other.
This world will miss your smile, Barb. God Bless
