RIP Kenny Pete! So many great memories working at Pete's with you! You had so much pride and put so much effort in preparing food and your customers were happy and well taken care of! You had a big heart and appreciated your help even tho you got worked up a few times! Just doing it Kenny's way which looking back was why you were a successful restaurant owner! Lots of memories and I had 4 jobs but Pete's was one of my favorites! RIP boss! Keeping your beautiful family in my thoughts and prayers! Fly high Kenny! Sincerely, Mary Westphalen

Kenny Pete was one of a kind, Terry and I spent many hours working in the restaurant and learned a ton from Kenny. He was one of the most dedicated business owners you would ever find and made some of the best food. His signature dishes like tapioca pudding, French bread, potato salad, apricot glazed pork loin, and coleslaw are ones so many people enjoyed and will always remember. Outside of the restaurant he was a special person to us as well and we will always remember his big heart and how even though we worked for him he treated us like friends. Rest easy Kenny Pete…

My prayers go out to Kenny's family for their loss. I enjoyed calling on Kenny as a customer but also as a friend. Our Tuesday afternoon coffee and food ordering was an experience.. It takes a special person to own and operate a food business, and Kenny was one of them. Many good memories! Rest in peace, Kenny. Dave Anderson

Kenny will always hold special place in my heart. I grew up working for Pete’s. They taught me how to provide great customer service and to always do things right. I always felt like part of their family. So many good memories!!

My most sincere condolences to Kenny's family. I knew him for a number of years beginning at his restaurant in Hartley. I was impressed with his dedication and knowledge of that industry and we became friends. He was a hard worker to the point of exhaustion I thought. I invited him to take a week off to come & visit me in Arizona where we could have some adventures seeing, among other things, the Grand Canyon. He was such a fun guest and took a gazillion photos of anything and everything! He found a little place here that had the best cinnamon rolls that even made him lick the plate clean! He just totally enjoyed every minute and was game for anything. I've thought of that visit many times and I'm so glad he did it because I think he needed it at that time. Rest easy, Kenny ... you deserve it.
