Obituary of Bryan Allen Brigham

Please share a memory of Bryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bryan Allen Brigham, son of Donald L. and Barbara J. (Heida) Brigham, was born December 7, 1983, in Sioux City, Iowa. He spent his youth in Hartley, Iowa where he received his education, graduating from Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School with the class of 2003.

Following graduation, Bryan attended Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Iowa for one year, enrolling in the Auto Body program. His employment included working with roofing crews as well as local hog confinements.

When the workday ended, Bryan enjoyed hanging out with friends, catching up on the day’s events and shooting a few games of pool. You could usually find Bryan outside in the summer – camping, fishing or riding bike. He loved the freedom of being outdoors, sitting around a campfire, in tune with nature. He also actually enjoyed cooking; trying new things or sticking with the old stand-bys – he never went hungry.

Bryan passed from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the age of 39 years. Preceding him were his sister, Tanya; his grandparents: LeRoy and Gladys Brigham, and Lambert and Wilma Heida.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Don and Barb Brigham; his brother Kyle Brigham and his wife, Sara; niece, Katelyn Brigham; nephew, Wyatt Brigham; his special friend, Ann Strait; aunts and uncles: Dale (Deb) Brigham, Bob (Cindy) Heida, Carla (Tim) Fitzgerald, Diana Heida, and Kathie (Frank) Stattelman; many cousins, other relatives and good friends.

In lieu of floral remembrances,

the family requests memorials be directed to

the Hartley Packpack Program.
