I was saddened to hear this news of the man who changed m’y Life. I have so many fond and fun memories of him when we were bonding through letters . He was a father (My beloved father) . I always looked forward to meet him when I was reading his letters. I was trying to reach him for years cause I had no contact or informations and today I just dicovered He is gone and I’m heartbroken. He was one of a Kind, an Angel . He spread his love to me from America All the way to Africa. My deepest condolence's to you . Jemima Sere

I was saddened to hear this news of Eddie. I have so many fond and fun memories of him when we lived in Hartley. I always looked forward to his weekly visits when I owned the store. Time was usually spent laughing and sharing stories. He was one of the "good guys", and served Hartley very honorably. My deepest condolence's to you Will.

Deepest sympathy to Will who did a great job taking care of his dad and made the last few years fun for Eddie. Eddie and Billie were a great team at the Sentinel and at home. I enjoyed the weekly visits Eddie made picking up the ads for the coming week for 30 plus years and sharing their life at the lake, what they were cooking, where they were going, happenings around town and of course what was happening with Will. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Ed first, as a Council Member and then as Mayor of Hartley. In both positions he represented the community admirably. He was part of a lot of progressive and positive changes to Hartley. He ran a great meeting too. Billie was always his champion and I know he missed her terribly. They were both a lot of fun to be around. Will - I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing your parents are together again. My deepest sympathy to you at this difficult time. Kay

Even though we haven’t seen each other in the last number of years you have always been in my thoughts and heart. Growing up so close I remember all the Christmas Eves and Super Bowls we spent together. All the weekends at the cabin when your whistle would bring us home even half way around the lake. The hunters breakfast on the deck. So many pull tabs at the steakhouse the table was covered. My heart is with you during this sad time Will. Love Shelli
