Sending my deepest sympathies to the family of Gert. I had the privilege to work with her at The Pantry in Luverne, MN back in the 80’s. Then later she lived at the Centennial apt. As so my parents. She was always kind and caring. God Bless her memory. Christy Reisch

What a great lady and a great couple to have known and worked for when they farmed north of Melvin. Always a cup of coffee ready or a great lunch after we had worked the cattle. And then after she moved back to the care center Sue and I had some great conversations about her faith, her life on the farm and of course lots of stories of raising those "rascal boys" who you could tell she dearly loved. Our thoughts are with you all and also we join you in the joy you must have knowing where Gert is now. SUE AND DR. MARK SCHULZ

Our deepest sympathy to Curt and Donna and Gerts family. Gert was a special person I will always remember her good cup of coffee and lunch and dinners on the farm. Gerts smiles and giggling as us boys were discussing our mischievous ways. Prayers to all of Gerts family, John and Pat Klatt

You all have our deepest sympathy. Larry knew Gertie long before I did, but it didn't take long for us to become friends. I loved to visit with her. She always had a big smile on her face and we would visit when I came to the nursing home. She was good about stopping to say hello to Larry when he was there too. You were blessed to have such a wonderful mother.

Our deepest sympathies to Curt, Donna and all of Gerts family. We last visited with her at Richs funeral, she had stayed so bright and once again was a delight!
