Dewey was a great man with a kind heart. I will never forget his belly laugh, the way he would hoot and holler over something he liked, his love for Pepsi and Honey Nut Cherrios, the way he loved his friends and family and would talk about them constantly, the way he would call you over from across the store to say hi and shake your hand. He treated his housemates like family and I know he felt like part of mine. Since I am unsure if I will be able to attend his funeral I wanted to stop and share a few pictures and memories and say I will always think of my time with him fondly. This world is a little less brighter without this kind soul but I am so glad to know he is in Heaven without the limits of this place. My heartfelt condolences to his family for his passing.

Dewey was one of my favorite people. I will always be grateful that I knew him, and I will never hear Song of the South or Devil Went Down to Georgia without thinking of him and his unique singing and hooting. He was truly such a light in this world and made everyone he encountered laugh.

I have so many memories of Dewey…that smile and twinkle in his eye. Dianne enjoyed their times together and our family will surely miss him. He will always be remembered with a smile.
