One of the GREATS as greatness should be defined. When I drove up the lane to treat livestock or whatever the reason, I had a smile on my face both coming and going. I remember Ronny coming to our house when we were little kids. He would play in a band with my dad, Dennis, and other Hartley gentlemen. He would play the drums with my mom's butter knives that were white with blue flowers on them. It was always a lot of fun. Ronny and Jan were great friends to my parents. He will be greatly missed.
