In the much too short a time I worked with Jim, there were a couple of things that stood out. When there was work to be done, I was always amazed that it seemed like Jim could actually be two places at once, and that if he told you something that you could be sure it was true. I never hear a report about Sturgis that I do not think about Jim.

Jim was a mild mannored man in our eyes, that was easy to be around. He and Vivian helped my mother a lot, as we lived in St Louis, and could only make it up to Iowa every couple months to see her. . His demeanor was so easy going, and non judgmental and was a pleasure to be around. We haven't been able to see him much in the last few years, but his gracious attitude and willingness to help others was very profound. Jim if you can hear me, we love you, appreciated you, and love you. We appreciated your kindness. God Bless you, in your journey to meet our Lord and Saviour. Best regards to the family. Carl Kroese

Belinda & Tony, I’m so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I’ve thought all summer about going to visit him but prevented by the virus. He was a pallbearer at Kandys funeral so we have always held Jim in high regard & I’ll miss just knowing he’s around. May our Lord comfort all of you. Richard Bailey
