So sorry to hear of Jack's death. My Great-grandmother Protextor attended my high school graduation with my grandparents Clara and Henry Dingel. I remember meeting Emmet and Greta. I think we attended some function at their home. My mother was Helen Dingel. I remember meeting Jack also, although he was 11 years older then me. We are probably the last of the distant relatives that remember this side of the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
May God bless you and keep you today and help to heal your pain as you send a great guy to his eternal home....I bet there will be some dancing and card playing going on...my thoughts are with you and yours today as you remember. I'm there in spirit.
My grandmother's name was Dingel. Protextors were in our family. My mother's name was Helen Dingel, and she grew up in Sanborn, too. As children, our family visted Grandma Protextor when she lived in Sanborn. She taught country school. She was born in 1910 and died in 1992. I had nine brothers and sisters; we lived in the Sibley area. I do remember meeting Emmet and Greta at some point. I wish that we had visted more often. . .
So sorry to hear about Uncle Jack and my prayers go to you all...he lived a full life and you all should be very proud. I don't know that I will be back for services so I wanted to wish you God's blessings and peace. Hugs to all...Lynne
