Obituary of Diane Nagel

Memorial Tribute Diane Lynn Nagel, daughter of Orville and Mary Kay (Jones) Nagel, was born November 19, 1964 at Spencer, IA. She spent her youth in the Sutherland, IA area, and attended school there, graduating with the class of 1983. Following graduation, Diane attended Brown Institute in Minneapolis, MN for the next two years. She gained employment selling ads for the radio station in Estherville, IA, and newspaper sales in Sheldon, Red Oak, IA and Gretna, NE. She also developed her own business, the Annie Hopper Cleaning Service out of Spirit Lake, IA. Later, she moved to Omaha, NE and worked at Taxi's Restaurant there. Currently, she managed her own cleaning service in Omaha. Diane was a real "people-person", having worked with the public in her various work endeavors, she developed a real knack for visiting with just about anybody, and people always liked visiting with her as well. In her free time, Diane's creative side was served in the many crafts she enjoyed doing. She passed from this life at her home in Omaha on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the age of 50. Left to cherish her memory are her special friend, Tom Talmadge of Omaha, NE; her parents, Orville and Mary Kay Nagel of Spencer, IA; siblings: Raymond, and his wife, Diane Nagel of Norfolk, NE, Donna Nagel of Sheldon, IA, Michael, and his wife, Jessica Nagel of Sioux City, IA; nieces: Kathi, and her husband, Eric Halsey of Omaha, NE, Kayla, and her husband, Michael Moretz of Des Moines, nephew, Henrik, and niece, Ava Nagel both of Sioux City, IA; great-nieces: Willa, and Hattie Jo Halsey of Omaha, NE; her aunt, Willa Mae Moeller of Okoboji, IA; and other relatives and many friends. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Bill and Mary Jones, and Nick and Dora Nagel; and her uncle, Ronnie Moeller; her nephew, Kyle Nagel, and her cousin, Karen Eppard.
