Obituary of Kimberly DeSorbo

Kimberly Jolene DeSorbo, 45, of Hartley, Iowa, passed away on September 28, 2014. Kim, the daughter of the late Lauritz H. Loken and Barbara J. LaCour was born December 9, 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She spent her youth in Little Rock, Arkansas and received her education there. She graduated from Hall Senior High School with the class of 1987. Kim left Arkansas in her mid-20's and moved to Hartley, Iowa. She was employed at Fiesta Foods in Hartley for many years and became well acquainted with all her customers. She was a devoted mother to her son, Noah, and generally enjoyed life. Kim is survived by her son, Noah L. Parker DeSorbo of Hartley, Iowa; her mother, Barbara LaCour of Hartley, Iowa; one sister, Tammie and her husband, Andy Corbett of Corpus Christi, Texas; one niece, Scout Corbett and one nephew, Ashton Corbett also of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her grandmother, Phyllis LaCour of Sibley, Iowa. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Lauritz Harold Loken.
