Darlene, Debbie & Jan, I so wanted to be able to give each of you a huge hug and my sympathies today but the weather was not on our side. Please know we are praying for comfort for all of you. I feel so honored to have had your Dad as one of my baptismal sponsors. I think back to our family gatherings and all the fun times we had together, it is so great to have those wonderful memories. My Dad of course feels a real loss in losing his brother; but yet he is comforted having gotten to see and visit with him just recently, he said that is a good memory to hold on to. Gods blessings to you all.

Darlene, Deb, and Jan, I was saddened to hear of the loss of your husband and father. Mr. Anderson was always an icon in the halls of SHS standing in the corner of the hallway outside his math room during passing periods. His teaching methods, and dry sense of humor was always something that made him stand out. Not only was he a great math teacher, but also a great husband, father, family friend, and a great man. May God share his blessings during this time of sorrow.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing Mr. Anderson. Mr. Anderson was one of the great educators that I had at SHS. Mr. Anderson's love for teaching math was very infectious on me. I went on to become a math teacher with Mr. Anderson's words of encouragement. I love teaching and working with students and a large part of that is how Mr. Anderson treated us as students. He will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Anderson, Deb and Jan, What fond memories I have of Mr. Anderson. I will always remember him for his humor, observations and the passion for the students whom he taught. Mr. Anderson was a world class educator who was able to instill knowledge, discipline and confidence in his students who all recall him with great fondness and respect. The quality of teachers I enjoyed in Sanborn were second to none and Mr. Anderson was one of the absolute best on a professional and personal level. His legacy is alive in all of us. It was truly an honor to work/teach with Mr. Anderson. He was a great math teacher, professional colleague, and friend. He would go out of his way to be there for his students ( and sometimes their parents) to help them succeed. I've heard many great stories about his teaching methods, expectations, and how he had his students fold and sign their papers. He had the blessing of teaching generations, so his knowledge and expertise lives on. He will always be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
