Arlene and family, We were sorry to hear of Ed's passing. May God give you peace and strength during these difficult days. I recall the time Ed gave me a ride to my destination when the snow and slush were just too much for my car. You had always told me to stop if I needed help. Thanks again. We need more kindness in this world.

Arlene and family I wish to express my sympathy to you at this time of your loss . I am so glad that I got to meet Ed and take care of him . He was always so friendly and caring . He was so lucky to have such a caring and devoted wife and will be missed . Just take one day at a time and think if all the happy memories you have made.

Dear Arlene and Family, My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. I did not know Ed well--but recall many years ago that I ran out of gas near your driveway. Ed put some gas in my tank and sent me on my way, refusing any payment. I would guess he was the type of man who helped out where ever he saw need. Blessings on your continued life's journey.

Dear Arlene and family, We wish to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Ed. I am the daughter of Wilbur and Harriet Meerdink of Sioux Center, and Ed was a first cousin to my dad. Ed is now in Heaven with many of our family members which have passed on. The Meerdink family is in our thoughts and prayers. It has truly been a blessing and an honor to have known such a fine man. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 6For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;8in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
