I feel very fortunate to have worked closely with Pete on the Hartley Housing and Development Board. Not only did I get the opportunity to see how committed he was to the Hartley community. I got to know him personally and gained a wonderful friend. Thank you for your friendship Pete. I will miss you. My deepest sympathy to Wanda and family. May god rest his soul.

Dear Wanda,Bruce, John, and JoEllen, So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He will be greatly missed. We're so happy we stopped to visit the last time we were in Hartley. There will be no more suffering now because we know he's in Heaven where he has a new body and is joining the saints that have gone before him praising and worshipping the Lord together. We ask the Holy Spirit to comfort his family who remain here on Earth. May your thoughts be filled with the good memories of life with him. You were wonderful neighbors and friends of the Hunt family. We'll never forget how Wanda and Pete drove Doris and Paul in the middle of the night to the Spirit Lake hospital when Paul was so sick. My sympathy goes out to the Buck family. Pete was a great man. I met him before I moved to Hartley, when I shot with the Hartley Rifle team. Always enjoyed shooting shoulder to shoulder with him.He was a real competitor.He will always be remembered as a great person.

I grew up with you across the street, worshiped with you on Sundays, and enjoyed visiting with you when I was home on visits. Dolly and JoEllen were playmates as well as adult friends.
