My brothers, Justin and Preston, both called me to tell me of Tom's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Most of my memories of Tom are from High School as classmates and most of our discussions centered around sports, especially basketball. After graduation I pretty much lived away from Melvin but when we saw each other at reunions and such we reminisced about basketball. Tom always seemed to have a smile on his face. Again, I send my sympathies.

To Tom's Ms Texas and Ms. Missouri, So incredibly sad to hear of Tom's passing. We worked together at Compass Pointe when he was a counselor there and he was a joy.....most of the time he just knew how to take life as it comes and rarely complained. That "dry" sense of humor was great and often the timing of it was just right. He was a great master of trivia and I thought I was pretty sharp to keep up with him at times. He did some good work as counselor as he was a good advocate and compassionate source of trust. Please know that you are in my thoughts prayers. Blessings

Just heard of Tom's passing. I am so sorry and send my deepest sympathies to his family. As we grew up together, Tom was one of our best friends and we learned much about life together. His humor and life will be fondly remembered by all of us that knew him.

What sad news to hear! Tom and I worked together at ADTU for a few years, and he was such a hoot to work with! He definitely kept us sane there when work was some what challenging with his jokes and wonderful sense of humor. It was great to keep up on Facebook ... he will be missed.

My brother called this morning to tell us of Tom's passing. My husband and I are sorry learn this and want to extend our sympathy to his family. We were high school friends and the same age in high school, although he graduated from Melvin and I was a Sanborn Bulldog. I think of Tom coming to Sanborn and playing basketball with some of the Sanborn guys. He wore that great big smile which I'll always fondly remember. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
