Jeanette (Andringa) Boone, the daughter of Maggie (Elgersma) and Jake Andringa, was born on December 28, 1914 in Sanborn, Iowa. While growing up, she attended the Sanborn Christian School.
She was united in marriage to Charles Boone on December 10, 1936 at her parents’ home in Sanborn. Following their marriage, Charles and Jeanette owned and operated the Phillips 66 station in Sanborn for 25 years. They were blessed with one daughter, Margaret. As of last December, they had been happily married for 72 years; all of those years spent living in Sanborn.
